MENTA:L HEALTH FIRST AID TRAININGGallipoli Barracks Community Centre is hosting Mental Health First Aid training in collaboration with 6RAR and the 7BDE Chaplaincy team.
The course is taught by 6RAR Chaplain Darren Cronshaw. When Darren taught MHFA for a previous unit’s families, one participant commented in the course evaluation: “As a partner this course was greatly appreciated. Learning symptoms to look for and tools to best assist through a mental health crisis are invaluable. It was also helpful to learn about support networks available in Defence.”
The course will run over 2 Saturdays 23rd and 30th August 9-4pm. Participants are requested to make both days totally available for the course without any other commitments or scheduled appointments
