🌟 iPaola’s Communication Guide Training is Back! 🌟After the success of my workshop last year, I’m so excited to announce that iPaola’s 2-day Deafblind Communication Guide Training is returning this winter — with new sessions on Saturday 28th June and again in July.
📍 Location: Pimpama, Queensland
🕐 Time: 9am - 12pm (3-hour session)
This training is ideal for:
• New or experienced Commguides
• Auslan students
• Support workers and professionals curious to learn more about Deafblind access
or interpreters to learn more about Deafblindness
You’ll get the rare opportunity to learn directly from a Deafblind person — that’s me! — about how to support communication, navigation, and connection in real-life situations.
✨ What to expect:
• Day 1 (June) = Theory and foundational understanding
• Day 2 (July) = Hands-on practical activities
Both parts are essential to complete the full training experience.
👥 Spaces are limited to keep it warm, interactive, and access
