Meet Lydia Deetz – a sharp-tongued teen with a love for the macabre and a deep longing to reconnect with her late mother. When her family moves into a haunted house, she discovers the ghosts of the former homeowners – and a mischievous, crude, and wildly unpredictable demon named Beetlejuice.
With a three-time chant of his name, Lydia unleashes Beetlejuice’s insane antics. Chaos ensues as he tries to scare the new living residents away, earn his freedom, and marry Lydia (awkward!). But beneath the jokes, jump-scares, and jaw-dropping effects is a story about grief, love, and letting go
