In 2024, Council launched the Promoting Greater Access in Greater Shepparton guide which includes simple tips, checklists and advice for event organisers to make their event more accessible to those with disabilities. Session 1: Events
Tips and tricks to make your event more accessible.
Time: 5:30pm – 7:00pm
Participants will leave the session with an understanding of:
- low cost ideas to increase accessibility at local events
- how to increase attendance and inclusiveness at local events
- understanding what ‘good accessibility’ is.
