Year 5 Grandparents' Day
 

We’re excited to invite you to a special day filled with fun and memorable moments. This event is a wonderful opportunity for students to spend quality time with their grandparents or another cherished family member or friend, while enjoying activities, performances and refreshments for the family members. Please review the details below and register to attend. Should the student’s grandparents be unavailable or unable to attend, they are warmly invited to bring another special family member or close friend in their place. Please note, each student may bring up to a maximum of 4 guests per set of grandparents. 

Date:                    Wednesday 6 August 2025

Venue:                 Please meet in the foyer of our new Grace Building, then guests and students can make their way into the lectorial 

Time:                    9.00am - 11.00am

RSVP:                   Sunday 3 August 2025, 11.59pm

Event Schedule: 

1. Welcome and Concert (9:00 AM - 9:30 AM)
   A 30-minute concert featuring performances by Primary Years Strings and Band followed by the School Choir. 

2. School Tour (9:30 AM - 10:15 AM)
   Year 5 students will guide their grandparents on a tour around the school. 
   The tour will include visits to year 5 classrooms and other key areas of the school.

3. Morning Tea (10:05 AM - 11.00 AM)
   Grandparents will enjoy morning tea on Toakley Terrace, Grace Building (top floor)  

*As part of your registration, you are invited to email a photo of the student with their grandparent/s to community@loreto.qld.edu.au. Submitted photos will be featured in a running slideshow during the event.
