After celebrating the successful release of his debut album ‘Acteon’, a suite of works for string quartet and improvising ensemble, Darcy is thrilled to be presenting a new collection of his contemporary classical works. This program features several of his string quartets and piano quintets, including ‘The Neighbour’s House is on Fire’, a recent commission for the Mostly Modern Festival in New York.
The program also features one of Darcy’s all-time favourite string quartets, Caroline Shaw’s ‘Plan and Elevation’ and a new work for string quintet ‘In Wild Country’ by Harry Sdraulig.
TICKETS $35 | $25
Online sales close at 7:30pm on the day of the concert. Tickets can be purchased at the door, dependent on availability. Tempo Rubato is a cashless venue.
