• Inventor's Kit (Yr 6-8): model & solve real world problems with robotics and coding

WHAT'S ON FOR WINTER 2025?
- We just wrapped up Term 2 and we've been learnig a lot of new things at school. This winter we will be pushing boundaries and exploring how real engineers go about solving problems.
- We'll be using our LEGO kits, motors, range of sensors and electric parts to spend a couple of days living in the shoes of mechatronic, electrical, building and other engineers as well as scientists in a variety of disciplines. We'll also explore how science and arts intersect and get creative along the way.
WHO ARE THE EDUCATORS?
The education team will be led by:
Mr. Pavle Jeric
Mr Jeric has been in education for the last 2 decades teaching students of all ages. He is a computer engineer passionate about developing scientific literacy through fun.
He tells his student that engineers are the world’s problem solvers. “Whether building Roman aqueducts 2000 years ago or modern satellites, engineers have been at the centre of all major developments”.
Schools teach very important subjects like science and maths and Mr. Jeric brings engineering into the mix. For him engineering is a profession, but he believes it is also a general skillset and a way of looking at the world. Engineering brings together sciences, critical thinking, imagination and creativity to solve real world problems.

Back in Rockhampton book this Robo Bricks session for your child (suitable for students in Year 3 through Year 5/6). If doing for first time, year 6 students should try this program. More experienced Year 6 students could try the Inventor's Kit Program.
In Rockhampton again during school holidays, book this Inventor's Kit session for your child (suitable for students in Year 6 through Year 9). If doing for first time, year 6 students should try Robo Bricks. More experienced Year 6 students could try the Inventor's Kit.
