Drawing on the late 70’s success’ of the Broome Arts Group Aboriginal Corporation (BAGAC) came the “era of the turtle/dingo/parrot”
When BAGAC harnessed local organisational and inter-agency co-operation, breaking new ground to find radical practical solutions.
This era’s under-recognised achievements have for over the past 3 decades added exponentially to the Broome economy via a modus operandi - identity/enterprise/quality, now building toward this 6725 Music Picture Show Event.
A "step-up” proposal for the 2029 WA Bicentenary to honour the creative platform building of Jimmy Chi,- by working on a this art/info project together,
Within this, we can create an attractive bran Nue Orleans-like Art/Life economy.
