Interested in understanding the Property Trust? New to a board or council?Property Trust 101 is designed for anyone who has an interest better understanding the Property Trust, its operations and how it supports the wider Church. Led by the Synod Corporate Governance Specialist, Simon Moore, the presentation provides valuable information for board or council members or those interested in Church governance.
The presentation will include:
- the polity of the Uniting Church
- the corporate structure of the Church
- the obligations and responsibilities of governing body members, and
- an opportunity to ask questions on notice or during the session.
The session is delivered over a lunchtime with face-to-face and online attendance options
A light working lunch will be provided for those attending in person
