Be a part of the MLC Chess Club in Term 3, 2025!Guided by Patrick Gong, an International Chess Master and four-time WA State Champion, students in Years 2 to 6 will have the opportunity to learn chess, from the basics to more advanced strategies. Chess isn't just educational - it's also fun and engaging, fostering problem-solving and cognitive development.
Key information:
- The club welcomes students from Year 2 to Year 6.
- Weekly sessions on Thursday mornings, 7:15 to 8:15 am, before school.
- Term fee of $170 per student, with a sibling discount of $160 each.
Please note that the term fee covers a 7-week period, with weeks 8, 9, and 10 offered free to compensate for public holidays and any missed sessions due to illness. Unused sessions will be carried forward to future terms.
