About
Dance of the Moth is a two-part multimedia performance event celebrating creative expression and the nurturing of young talent from Banyule through contemporary dance, sound and visual art.
Part 1 begins with a performance by young participants who, through a series of workshops, have been mentored by professional artists Erin Taube (dance), Roderick Price (sound), and Jutta Pryor (visuals). These emerging performers have explored storytelling through movement, sound and projected visuals, culminating in this exciting live debut at the Yarra-me Djila Theatrette.
Part 2 is an improvised professional performance by the artists themselves, a unique sensory journey where visuals respond to rhythm, light and motion in real time. No two performances are ever the same.
