About
An estimated 1,200 people are currently experiencing homelessness in the Mackay region, and 1 in 5 will face it at some point in their lives.Whitsunday Anglican School is committed to giving back through service and compassion. We’ve partnered with Sleep Safe Mackay to support the region’s first sleepbus initiative.
Our goal is to raise $5,000 to help cover one month of running costs for this vital service.
With 20 secure sleep pods, toilets, charging stations, TVs, and storage, the sleepbus offers people in need a safe and dignified place to rest.
