Opening - Krimper: Mid-century artist and master craftsman

The work of Schulim Krimper holds a distinctive place within the field of mid-twentieth century Australian furniture design. Creating modern handcrafted timber furniture, he was a skilled craftsman whose European training and knowledge of international traditions and contemporary design developments informed his work. This exhibition presents a range of Krimper’s furniture, including pieces from private collections which have never before been shown in public.
