By the end of this session, participants will:● Understand the principles of mindfulness and its benefits in crisis support work and in their lives in general.
● Feel confident to immediately begin using mindfulness techniques in their lives.
● Develop increased self-awareness to recognize emotional triggers and responses in themselves and callers.
● Learn grounding techniques to manage stress and emotional overwhelm.
● Practice mindfulness-based strategies to calm the busy thinking ‘monkey mind.’
● Recognize signs of compassion fatigue and implement self-care strategies
Apply mindfulness techniques to enhance resilience, focus, and well-being.
