• Camera & Image Editing (Basics & Beyond) Workshop - June 2025

• Our Basics & Beyond workshop is a 'one-stop-shop' for you to come to grips with both your camera and image editing.  A practical, hands-on workshop presented in two information-packed sessions on Sunday June 15th.

Aim:

• Learn the basic functions of your camera & how best to use them;
• Become more comfortable using your camera without it being on ‘Auto’;
• Develop an understanding of photography techniques & how you can improve your imagery;
• Develop an understanding of your editing software interface, what the main editing options & tools do, & how to use them to best effect;
• Discover how fun & easy it is to take your images from every-day snapshots to WOW!
• Discover the power of ‘Layers’ & more in Photoshop.

You will need to bring:

• Your camera equipment.  Ensure your battery is charged & you have ample capacity on your memory card.
• Your computer/laptop with your editing software pre-installed* (e.g. Adobe Bridge/ACR; Lightroom; Photoshop);
• A small selection of photos you would like to edit (RAW format preferably, otherwise Jeg’s) on a USB or memory Card;

Note:  Some programs such as Adobe require internet access.  You will need to (phone) Hotspot as we don’t have Wi-Fi.

Morning tea supplied.
