We recognise that homelessness is not who someone is – it's a challenging experience they face.This event aims to give students a deeper understanding of what life can be like for members of our community, particularly the many young people experiencing homelessness. With youth unemployment in Cairns sitting at around 20.5% – one of the highest rates in Australia – the issue is especially pressing.
Throughout the evening, Missio Dei will be selling items to help raise funds for their upcoming trip to the Ignite Conference.
