This 2-part workshop is for counsellors seeking to better understand and support people who hear voices or have other sensory experiences. Facilitated by Richmind WA, managers of the Hearing Voices Network WA, it draws on over a decade of peer-led, recovery-focused practice.Session One: Understanding the Hearing Voices Approach

Explore the diversity of voice-hearing, its origins, research base, and person-centred philosophy. Take part in a voice hearing simulation and reflective activities.
Session Two: Practical Application in Your Setting
1/8/25 9am to 12:30pm
Learn practical strategies for supporting people distressed by voices. Apply learning to persona-based scenarios.
Purchasing a ticket for 25/7 gives access to BOTH workshop days.
Founded in 2012, HVN-WA is WA’s only program for people who hear voices or have sensory experiences, reducing stigma and empowering through support and education.
A certificate of attendance will be supplied.
