This concert of exquisite chamber music will delight the audience who will be treated to excellent ensembles for this winter concert in the lovely Eileen Joyce Studio.Starting with a new exciting piece, composed and performed by musician and astronomer Sam Sweeny on piano and well-known violist Alix Hamilton, The Flight of the Birrin Birrin is inspired by the striking landscapes, unique flora, and rich wildlife of Western Australia’s Great Southern region.
A rare combination for a trio, two violas and cello, will be performed by WAAPA students Noah Furtado, Abitha Taylor, Heidi Hill. The Hummel String Trio in G Major reflects the transition from the Classical to the Romantic musical era.
Suite for Two Violins and Piano by Moskowski will be performed by Monica Rallabhandi and Ellie Malonzo on violin and Vevina Yang on piano.
