About
Cultural Awareness Training is a key part of practice and ongoing professional development for those in the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) space. However, for many practitioners access to in person cultural awareness training is limited. Depending on a range of factors training may not be provided by the employer. For independent practitioners public programs are limited with no network offering you the training, or just the basic cost being beyond what you can afford.
EEON (Equal Employment Opportunity Network) is a Victorian based network and not-for-profit who have seen this Gap. To support practitioners and contribute to building further awareness of First Nations culture and our shared history we are pleased to offer a half day training session at a subsidised price of $75 per person.
It is anticipated participation in the training program, will strengthen the confidence and capacity of staff in working with Aboriginal people, organisations, and their communities.
