About
New to knitting or need a refresher? Learn to Long Tail Cast On, Cast Off, Knit and Purl stitches plus basic knitting jargon. You’ll start a simple bracelet project to put your new skills to use. Come along and get comfortable with the basics and leave with the confidence to keep going.The class fee is $50 and includes tuition and class notes. BYO: 8 ply wool, 4mm & 3.25mm needles, and a blunt sewing needle (optional for finishing). **Needles and yarn available for purchase in store)
Your tutor, Josephine picked up her first pair of knitting needles nearly 60 years ago and has hardly stopped since. She is a firm believer that knitting is a good thing for everybody – so much so that she’s made it her mission to teach this essential post-apocalyptic life skill to anyone willing to learn. Ever curious, she is always learning new techniques, patterns and excuses to expand her yarn stash.
