Experience the brilliance of the Stuttgart Youth Chamber Orchestra – live in South Gippsland!Founded in 1960, the Stuttgart Youth Chamber Orchestra is one of Germany’s most distinguished youth ensembles and is performing in South Gippsland.
Now integrated into the Stuttgart Music School, the orchestra brings together outstanding young musicians aged 12 to 20 – all prize winners of national and international competitions
Under the direction of Prof. Michael Böttcher since 2023, this exceptional ensemble will perform an ambitious repertoire spanning from Baroque masterpieces to contemporary works.
The dynamic program features music by Henry Purcell, Edward Elgar, Bernard Herrmann, Michael Nyman, and Pjotr Tschaikowsky.
