About

All registered nippers for season 2025-2026 are required to attend a pool proficiency and beach proficiency. Pre-season proficiencies are to ensure our Nippers will be safe in the ocean and must be completed by every Nipper at the start of each season.

Nipper pool abilities are aimed to qualify each nipper for the beach proficiency trials. The requirements can be found here - https://www.coolumsurfclub.com.au/members/nippers/handbook

This season there will only be two pool proficiency sessions and all nippers must book into one of these sessions. Furthermore we strongly suggest that you take the time to practice your child’s requirement before attending your nominated session. Allocated times to attend will be advised closer to each session.

What to Bring: Goggles and a Towel

Note: there is no free play in the pool before or after.
