Fáilte roimh bhliain a cúig! Yep, our fifth year has arrived.  As previously, the weekend will be held on the AFL Grand final weekend, from Friday afternoon until Sunday morning. Meals are again available for you, allowing you to just sit back & play tunes, sing and socialise. For myself, I feel the weekend should evolve to be bigger and better, yet modestly so.  To this end I've introduced minor changes. Whilst minor, I hope these will contribute to the weekend just that bit better.  So here's the details:

• If you're not keen for the meals then you can sort yourself out, no problem. But if you prefer to relax and have it done for you then dinners, breakfasts, and saturday lunch are available, all PRE-BOOKED. I have to stress this last point, as each year I get one or two folks who want food last minute, yet never booked. This isn't a moan, but a nudge to make it clear.  Henceforth I am making a bigger effort with the saturday lunch, making it a cooked lunch.
• Camping is included in ticket pricing. Children come for free, apart for meals.
• The event has a modest amount of beer and wine available by donation (self-serve honesty system), and it's pretty good quality whilst remaining VERY cheap. This helps cover costs etc, but BYO alcohol is completely fine too, and nobody will frown upon you for bringing it!  There's plenty of fridge space.
• I have previously hired the hall only from Friday afternoon until Sunday noon, to make costs as low as possible. This makes it hard to set up much, & time for cleaning up is also limited.  I have decided to increase the time of the hire, in the hope of getting even that little more time in order to make things better for all.  Even if it's a few minor details, I think it's worth it.  For this reason, along with EVERYTHING being more expensive these days, the ticket cost has increased.  I actually could keep it the same, but I felt that the event could be better and that nobody would be sad to see it evolve, even if it menat this small price increase. It really is a small amount and I think the weekend is speical already, but has the chance to be even more so.
