Le Salon des Refusés

Join us for a classical life drawing session inspired by The Salon des Refusés — the legendary 1863 exhibition of rejected artworks that scandalised Paris. Laughed at and dismissed by the public, these works, including Manet’s provocative Le Déjeuner sur l’Herbe, challenged convention and sparked a revolution in modern art. Our session pays homage to this moment of rebellion, celebrating the bold, the misunderstood, and the artistically defiant.

This session of TOP SECRET LIFE DRAWING will be taking place at 24 MOONS, NORTHCOTE.

There will be 4 models posing.

Date/Time: Thursday 26th of June from 7:30pm - 9:30pm.

*Location: 2 Arthurton Rd, Northcote.

Ticket Price: $38.00 / Concession: $35.00  

We encourage Artists to BYO materials. Basic art materials and chip boards are provided (butcher paper, charcoal, textas) with a gold coin donation.
