The Brisbane City Pops Orchestra is thrilled to present our third concert series for 2025 entitled - Unforgettable. Hear such unforgettable gems as a medley of favourites from The Sound of Music, Maxim’s March and the Merry Widow Waltz by Franz Lehar, the classic, The Entertainer, by Scott Joplin and the rousing Dam Busters Theme by Eric Coates. Top this off with Yesterday by the prolific, Lennon and McCartney. Our guest artists are two favourites, Marcia Penman and Daniel Smerdon, performing the love duet, All I Ask of You from Phantom of the Opera. Marcia will also perform the smash Bond hit Skyfall, and the serene Ave Maria, by Schubert. Daniel will present two Lloyd Weber hits, Music of the Night and the passionate ballad, Anthem, from Chess. He will also then take up his cello to perform Schindler’s List. The orchestra will also delight you with the Adagio from Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto in A Major. Our conductor is the wonderful Neil Flottmann.
