Just beyond the shimmering lights of Hollywood Boulevard & the gritty pulse of Sunset Strip, Laurel Canyon stood as a sanctuary for dreamers, rebels, and artists. A magnet for hippies & visionaries from all corners of the world. By the time the 1970s rolled in, the Canyon had become a musical Eden, where creativity & harmonies flourished. The air alive with iconic sounds of Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, Linda Ronstadt, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Neil Young, Carole King, James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne, America, The Byrds—all of whom made this magical enclave their home.California Dreamin’ features the fabulous vocal harmony trio The Beggars. They have recorded 7 albums, made multiple tours of Europe and become a regular feature on the Australian touring circuit.
The Beggars are joined by a guest musician on keys and vocals, and Steve Todd on drums and percussion.
