What is the Youth Advisory Group?
The Youth Advisory Group (YAG) is a team of passionate young people aged 16–23 who help shape and guide the Engage! Youth Project. We work alongside the Youth Worker and project team to make sure the program reflects what young people actually want and need in the community.
What will you do as a member?
Share your ideas and feedback to help improve and direct the project
Co-design, plan, and promote youth-led events, workshops, and volunteer opportunities
Speak up on the issues that matter most to young people
Join regular meetings and be part of real decision-making
Represent the voices of youth across multiple Community Centre sites
Why should you join?
Build your leadership, teamwork, and communication skills
Create real change in your local community
Gain experience that looks great on your resume, uni applications, or job interviews
Connect with like-minded people and have some fun along the way!
