About
The theme for our July Bottle Club is ‘Heathcote and Nagambie’ - reds or whites - reds with 5 years minimum bottle age.These two iconic and adjacent wine regions are located smack bang in the middle of Victoria and share many similarities, not the least of which being ancient and rich red soils and a warm Mediterranean climate. Both regions were established soon after the gold rush era and in fact still retain some of the oldest grapevines in the world!
Think luscious Rhone inspired wines, classic long lived whites and voluptuous reds. The Heathcote and Nagambie regions produce intense and alluring wines, not for the feint hearted - they say you can actually smell and taste the red dirt in the glass!
So, dig out or seek out a premium bottle from the shadows of the Camel Range or the banks of the Goulburn and join with your friends and guests at the BC table for a vinous celebration of history in a bottle.
