2025 CHESS ARTISTS Freestyle Rapid Chess Tournament
Date: JUNE 29 at 1pm
Prior to the tournament from 11:00am -12pm, FIDE Master Wang Lee will give a presentation for parents of junior players titled “Does Playing Chess Benefit Children? –What's the Evidence?"
The talk will be delivered in clear, non-technical language without any chess jargon.
Format: 6 round one day Swiss, you play all rounds
Time Control: 13 Minutes plus 2 seconds per move .(7min preparation time for each round's fresh position)
Cost: $15 Member, $25 non-Member, GM/IM/FM free
Prizes:$400 Provisional
