Faith in Psychiatry Symposium - 2025

About
The Faith in Psychiatry Symposium is a time to connect with like-minded colleagues and discuss the role that faith plays in the provision of mental health care. There will be talks focusing on faith, meaning and mental illness, examining the growing cultural challenges that we see in declining religious practice and faith and how this relates to the escalation in mental illness through our society. We will be graced with guest speakers including Professor David Kissane, a leader in psycho-oncology research in Australia, Dr Paul Fung, the Deputy Mental Health Commissioner for NSW and Ms Francine Pirola, a leader in faith and marriage education.Date
