All Year 5–6 students are welcome to attend the holiday camp, regardless of their participation in Ignite Robotics. Students may enroll in up to 3 driving or/and programming sessions.Programming: Robotic Control and AI in Robotics
Students will use the brand new Vex AIM Robots to grow their Robotics skills. Learn to drive and code the robot as you complete a variety of hands-on coding challenges to navigate around obstacles, kick balls, and use the AI Vision Sensor to detect and deliver objects! They’ll learn to program first in Block Code, but then progress to C++ as programming tasks become more complicated and they become more experienced.
Driving: Battle Bots Competition
Students participate in a Battle Bots competition. In this competition almost anything goes, as they design robust and versatile Robots to compete against each other in a series of challenges. Students have just 2 hours to design and build their robot with assistance from Barker Redbacks mentors.
