Looking to stretch yourself and take risks?Step into the world of Playback Theatre. Experience the power of personal stories and be surprised by your ability to ‘play them back'. You will be guided through the core principles of improvisation, explore your expressive self and learn to use your body and voice in dynamic, engaging ways. Plus have great fun!
Over five weeks you will:
• Discover new ways of listening, moving, and connecting as you learn the basic forms of Playback Theatre.
• Build or develop your improvisation skills as you work with others to create theatre from the personal stories that are shared.
Suitable for beginners who want to explore the Playback form or who just want to explore the joy of improvisation; for those with some Playback experience looking to extend their skills; and for experienced actors wanting to develop a more emotionally authentic and physically expressive style of improvisation.
Full price $450 or $380 concession.
