Your invited to the VBM wine tasting, where we explore the wines of Dirty Three — born in the rugged, windswept terrain of South Gippsland.Founded by Marcus Satchell and Lisa Dwyer, Dirty Three Wines is a story of resilience, craftsmanship, and a deep connection to place. Marcus, a hands-on winemaker and Chairman of Judges for the Melbourne Royal Wine Awards, brings a disciplined, strategic approach to every bottle. His vineyard management is grounded in sustainable practices, allowing the unique character of South Gippsland’s cool-climate terroir to shine through.
The name "Dirty Three" refers to their three primary vineyard blocks — the foundation of their expressive Pinot Noir and other varietals. Each wine reflects Marcus’s meticulous attention to detail, his respect for nature’s variables, and his ability to translate the land’s story into every vintage.
