In the spirit of partnering, and intervening as necessary, the Eastern Region Group of Councils (ERG) is pleased to invite you to participate in a Community Safety Roundtable, bringing partners together to consider how community safety perceptions and outcomes can be improved.The ERG comprises the Mayors, Deputy Mayors and CEOs of the cities of Knox, Manningham, Maroondah, Whitehorse and Yarra Ranges.
During Council Plan engagement. community members identified safety as an issue. With increasing pressure to ‘do more’ with limited resources, effective partnerships are critical.
Please join us to explore how together, we can develop active and safe places, promote community cohesion and resilience, and how our varied roles and responsibilities contribute to improved community safety perceptions and outcomes for the Eastern Region.
