Barefoot Nellie - visiting from Tasmania!Traditional old-time mountain music and Americana. Weaving the traditional sounds of high and lonesome vocal harmonies with driving fiddle, mandolin, guitar and banjo. Barefoot Nellie creates an atmosphere of excitement and warmth, evoking images of log cabins, wood-smoke, death, lonesomeness and whiskey, usually in that order.
This will be an acoustic concert at the RoundHouse.
Arrive 5.30 for a 6.00pm start.
Please bring a plate of food to share with others before the concert. There’ll be a very short break for the band between sets. Concert finishes 8.pm.
Band members are keen for a jam after the concert, so if you’re a muso, remember to bring your instrument with you!
Remember to bring rugs and cushions for your kids to sit on the floor; please select the tickets for them - free.
Help with stacking chairs and cleaning after the concert will be appreciated!
