Local Landscape in Pastels with Sophie Dunlop (over 4 weeks)

About
Join a fun class where we will learn some of the fundamentals of atmospheric perspective using pastels. In this class we will learn about how colours/tones change as they recede into the distance and how sizes diminish as they vanish to a horizon line.In the first lesson, students will choose an image for their project. Sophie will supply images or supply your own in A4 colour. You will work in pastels, a basic pastel set and some willow charcoal will be required. Also, your final 3-week project will be done on gray Canson paper which I will sell to you for $6 in the second class. The first week, all materials will be supplied. We can discuss pastel set options in the first class. You must attend all 4 classes - they are all Friday mornings, but there is a 2-week gap before the last class. Dates: 4th July, 11th July, 18th July and 8th August final class. (There are no classes on 25th July or 1st August.) Class is $30 per week but you must pay the $120 in full to secure your place.
