Witness the stories of Australian boxing champion Carly Salmon and ex-professional boxer Mat Sheehan in a gripping doco double feature at the Sun Theatre, Yarraville.Unsung: Princess is the story of Carly Salmon, a long time amateur fighter who came to boxing late in life, represented Australia on the world stage, and achieved an Australian title as the capstone of her professional career. But throughout this journey was another fight - the long struggle to have a child.
Unsung: Machine charts the path of Mat Sheehan from football to boxing, a path that took him around the country and across the world to Olympic qualifiers, and then to the professional ranks where he faced some of the top ranked boxers in Australia. Unsung: Machine is a story of getting up when down, and moving on the the fight is over.
Each ticket entitles you to enjoy two documentaries in one night - there will be a ten minute intermission between Unsung: Princess and Unsung: Machine.
