Make your way along the harbourside trail to one of Sydney’s most beloved beach suburbs - Manly. The 9.5km Manly Scenic Walkway begins at the Spit Bridge and passes sandy beaches, ancient Aboriginal sites and incredible lookouts, before arriving at the cosmopolitan restaurants. cafes and bars in Manly.Connecting pedestrian paths and walking tracks, the route highlights some of Sydney Harbour’s best bits: Clontarf Reserve, Castle Rock Beach, Grotto Point Lighthouse, Dobroyd Head, Reef Beach, Forty Baskets Beach, and Postcard Harbour views to Manly Wharf.
If you’re taking public transportation, you can take a bus to Spit Bridge and then a ferry or bus back from Manly,. with a number of opportunities for public transport should you need to cut the walk short for any reason.
Following the walk, there will be an opportunity to have dinner together. The venue we're suggesting is the New Brighton Hotel in Manly.
