THE REAL DEAL: BUMP, BIRTH AND BEYOND is a unique antenatal course on the Mornington Peninsula designed to prepare you for the realities of pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood. Learn about labour, birthing positions, pain management, and the role of your birth partner. Obstetrician Dr Emily Fiske will discuss instrumental and Caesarean births, plus common complications. Our midwife covers the early days with your newborn, including sleep, care, and recovery. You’ll also hear from our lactation consultant on feeding your baby, which is not always as straight forward as many believe.The course is facilitated by mental health clinician Jo Ford, with midwife Heidi Shaw and men’s mental health clinician Anthony Aliotta, offering expert support for both parents.
