Melbourne Bach Choir returns to St John's Camberwell with joy and festive spirit in the lead-up to Christmas with seasonal music for choir and brass with organ accompaniment, selected from centuries of celebrations. The program will include the world premiere of Jacaranda Carol, Dr Calvin Bowman’s new work for choir, brass and organ, commissioned with the support of the Peggy and Leslie Cranbourne Foundation, Calvin has made a beautiful setting of a poem by one of Australia’s finest poets, Mark Tredinnick. There will be many other less familiar and well-known Christmas favourites, including carols for audience participation.Date
