WHAT: With the success of the 'Try 420 Days' we have just run and the desire for the kids to do more sailing days, the Victorian 420 Association is running another “Try 420 Sailing and some coaching Day' on the 28th June 2025 at Davey's Bay Yacht Club.
Come, join in, and experience sailing a 420.
PURPOSE:
The goal of this day is:
a. to give sailors that are looking to move out of junior classes an opportunity to try a 420 dinghy so that they can make an informed decision. As sailors move out of Optis, Bics, Mirrors, 125s or International Cadets it is important that they make an informed decision so that their next step isn’t, a misstep; and
b. to provide a bit more knowledge about the boats, setup and racing them for those interested
But, above all else, keep it fun and not to serious so that you can enjoy mucking about in boats.
To help you with your decision the association will have 420s there.
