Learn to swing dance

We’re welcoming the Sydney Swing Katz to Cairns, Far North Queensland for a week of social dancing, workshops, and fun community activities.

Book your tickets online or there will be tickets available at the door! 🎶

Location is De Jarlais Function Centre, Cairns Showgrounds on Severin St, Parramatta Park 4870.

** Entry is via 'Gate 4' at Severin St and Loeven St intersection with parking on 'racetrack

Bar available for Saturday night dance.

Whether you’ve been dancing for years or have never set foot on a dance floor, there’s something for you. First-timers, we have an Absolute Beginners Class on Saturday 16 August at 10:00am.

We’re the SwingRays, a local community group that run Monday night Swing Dance classes in Edge Hill, Cairns. We love sharing the joy of swing dancing and can’t wait to welcome you to our biggest event of the year.
