About
Join the Glen Eira Stonnington Personal Development Course.Open to Scouts aged 13 and over, the Personal Development Course helps Scouts to build upon the skills they have already developed each week with their home Unit. Completing a Personal Development Course is required to achieve the Australian Scout Award, is particularly useful for members of the Unit Council, and recommended for every Scout interested in the building their skills.
Activities will focus on leadership, communication, teamwork, and Unit management, providing Scouts with skills for life and sending them home equipped to be better involved in the running of their Unit.
Cost includes cabin accommodation and catering for the duration of the course.
Leaders Required - In order to run this course effectively a number of Leaders are need to facilitate activities. Units sending Scouts are generally expected to provide a Leader to assist.

By registering for LeadUP, you agree to the following terms:
Course Viability - This course is subject to sufficient Leader availability. In the event that not enough qualified Leaders register to run the course safely and in accordance with Scouts Victoria requirements, the course may be cancelled. In such cases, registered participants will be notified as soon as possible.
Limited Places - Accommodation and resources are limited. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis once full registration and payment have been received. Early registration is encouraged to avoid disappointment.
Withdrawals and Refunds - Withdrawals may not be eligible for a full or partial refund. Any refund will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, taking into account expenses already incurred on behalf of the participant (e.g. accommodation, catering, materials).
