About
We will cover the basics of using a microscope and the preparation of slides to view and interpret microscopic fungal features. We will look at examples from Ascomycetes, Zygomycetes and Basidiomycetes (moulds and mushrooms) Techniques covered will include squash preps, flag preps and tease preps. We will also learn how we can use some of these features to help in the identification of mushrooms and other fungi.Date
