Join us for a cosy amigurumi workshop with Emily Bird, where you'll learn to craft your very own octopus, whale, bird, or whatever creativity allows! Hone your existing crochet skills, explore new techniques and connect with fellow makers. Materials are included! Just bring your curiosity and enjoy a hands-on experience in great company!Amigurumi is a Japanese term for a crochet stuffed toy. We will apply basic crochet stitches to make a little creature to take home and enjoy. The basic pattern will allow you to complete a jellyfish, bird, whale or a being of your choice!
This workshop is suitable for crocheters with some knowledge of basic stitches, wishing to create a small creature in a fun social environment. There will be an opportunity to choose what type of ears and tail you will create for your friend.
This is best suited for crafters with crochet experience. We encourage you to come to our Basics Crochet Workshop beforehand for a beginner friendly intro to the medium
