KICKSTART FOR KIDS FUNDRAISING CONCERT

About
Trinity Sessions, Church of the Trinity and the Effective Living Centre present a concert with Lazy Eye, Lucas Day, Kathie Renner, The Mis-Shapes to raise funds for KickStart for Kids, a South Australian charity that runs school breakfast and lunch programs, mentoring programs and providing basic clothing and healthcare support in South Australian schools.Funds raised will go to support the work of KICKSTART FOR KIDSLAZY EYE - Think B.B. King sharing a scotch with Booker T at the crossroads after midnight. Their multiple awards suggest Lazy Eye delivers some of the best original blues Australia has to offer. Evan Whetter’s vocals are gritty with a velvety smack of soul, wielding his weather-beaten Hammond with style as he leads an all killer no filler line up featuring star of the guitar Erica Graf and the supremely talented Mario Marino on drums.
LUCAS DAY - Hailing from the south coast of SA, Lucas is a folk-rock powerhouse blending funky riffs, sing-along melodies, and raw, heartfelt storytelling into music that moves your feet and stirs your soul. Lucas was chosen by Tim Freedman (The Whitlams) to support his recent shows in SA.
KATHIE RENNER - An artist who eschews stylistic boundaries to write songs from the heart. Inspired by the likes of Joni Mitchell, Paul Simon and Sting, her music is a fusion of sounds from pop to folk and jazz. She has toured Europe numerous times and performed at festivals nationally and internationally. She will be joined by Tyler Venter on guitar.
THE MIS-SHAPES - Straight out of the Adelaide Hills, they are bassist Alana, drummer Sonny and guitarist and vocalist Jarvis. This emerging band of 13-year-olds is already turning heads with their original songs—a blend of melodic riffs, strong drums, and powerful lyrics that take control of the crowd.
Trinity Sessions is a fully reserved seating concert style venue where the focus is on the music with bar facilities pre-show and interval. The bar is not open during the performances.
