This presentation will outline the functions and applications of high-strength geotextiles, which are widely used in various infrastructure and mining projects. It will also include local case studies, focusing on the Sino Iron Project at Cape Preston, Western Australia.This project was the largest planned magnetite project in Australia, with an estimated 2+ billion tons of magnetite ore. It involved the construction of a 30 km services corridor connecting the port to the mine site. Rajesh will provide further insights into the project, including details on its design and installation process.
