After 2.5 years of researching, interviewing and compiling, my debut book "The Good Oil - The history, people and stories of the BP Refinery Kwinana 1951 - 2021" is making its launch. Nearly 200 interviews and 1500 hours of research has produced 324 pages packed with all sorts of fascinating facts, memories and anecdotes.An invite is extended to anyone who worked at the Refinery and their families to join this event to reconnect with fellow coworkers, hear a few tales, enjoy a display of memorabilia and articles from old Kwinana News magazines, as well as secure your own signed copy of this unique book.
Kwinana Golf Club, which has strong historical links to the Refinery, has kindly made its member's bar available for this event, with full cash bar and snacks available.
To assist with catering requirements, please register your attendance. Registering will also put you in the running to win a free autographed copy of "The Good Oil", to be drawn at the event.
