Join us at the City of Perth Library for this interesting Seminar and Demonstration to celebrate National Science Week

Dr Claire Pannell is a musician and multi-disciplinary STEAM artist who applies acoustics and tinkering to make new instruments. By using design thinking and innovative problem-solving, she incorporates arts with science in her practice, whether creating musical instruments out of everyday tools or arts works that hang in gallery spaces. She is also an educator and shares her specialist skills in workshops for young people. She believes in lifelong learning and that happiness is the science to supporting great mental health as we age.

Come along and here all about Claire's journey, her practice and see a demonstration of some of her wonderful instruments and creations that harness sound from the strangest of places.

Aimed at people aged 16 and above.
