About
Monash Forge Forging Winter Workshops are back for 2025! In each 3 hour session, you'll learn traditional blacksmithing techniques that involve heating metal in a coke/gas forge and hammering metal into shapes that you'll be able to take home, no experience required.Join the team this July for hands-on experience unlike any other!
If there is a session time you'd like to join that is full, please contact info@monashforge.com and we'll make arrangements with you if possible.
Note: Workshops involve working with extremely hot metal near exposed fire, some minor physical activity such as hammering and bending over for periods of time.
This is an 18+ ONLY event.
For safety, you will also be required to provide your own PPE. This includes:
- 100% cotton long sleeve shirt or button-up
- 100% cotton/denim pants
- Steel-capped shoes
