About

Monash Forge Forging Winter Workshops are back for 2025! In each 3 hour session, you'll learn traditional blacksmithing techniques that involve heating metal in a coke/gas forge and hammering metal into shapes that you'll be able to take home, no experience required.

Join the team this July for hands-on experience unlike any other!

If there is a session time you'd like to join that is full, please contact info@monashforge.com and we'll make arrangements with you if possible.

Note: Workshops involve working with extremely hot metal near exposed fire, some minor physical activity such as hammering and bending over for periods of time.

For safety, you will also be required to provide your own PPE. This includes:
- 100% cotton long sleeve shirt or button-up
- 100% cotton/denim pants
- Steel-capped shoes
